McClaren leaves Twente again and Bale's brace lifts Spurs

England's Umbrella Man!
Hammers retired Mooro's shirt
Steve McClaren's left Twente Enschede for a second time, blaming a lack of support from the board. The former England boss won the Eredevise with Twente in 2010, before joining Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.

He then switched to Nottingham Forest for an ill-fated spell. It's a far-cry from his glory days as assistant to Jim Smith at Derby and Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.

Also in the bulletin, another brace for Gareth Bale secures third place for Tottenham in a 3-2 win at West Ham. He's now scored eight goals in the last six games - all of them double strikes in each game.

It was also a night of remembrance at Upton Park - as the club remembered their own captain, leader and legend, Bobby Moore, who died twenty years ago.
