I am not a Liverpool fan as you know, but I admire the way that their people stood up the Hicks and Gillett and fought for the best of the club rather than their own self interests in the way that David Gill and I hate to say it Alex Ferguson has done. When you fight for what it is right, the Liverpool people have shown what can be done.John Warringtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05445145600037763059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5801923422895102629.post-14308736903092733162010-10-19T00:54:04.319+01:002010-10-19T00:54:04.319+01:00What a shame if that's true John. The players LFC brought in have not lived upto the ones who've left. Aquliani for Xabi? and that Greek ponytail for Hyypia? it's been awful. Rooney or Fergie need to step back from the brink, surely??Jonny Gouldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07140291965364043592noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5801923422895102629.post-71025697628279378342010-10-18T11:03:31.445+01:002010-10-18T11:03:31.445+01:00I totally agree with Jonny. I am sure that like Cantona, Fergie did wrap a protective arm around the shoulders of Rooney. But the recent results announced by the club showing a loss means one thing, they were always going to have to sell their best asset and I am sure that the chiefs and the gimps at what is fast becoming the theatre of nightmares have used this opportunity to their full advantage.John Warringtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05445145600037763059noreply@blogger.com
